MITHOS will be present at the CIVITAS Forum 2026, the flagship event of the CIVITAS Initiative, taking place in Thessaloniki from 15 to 17 September 2026. The event is co-organised by consortium partner CERTH/HIT and the Municipality of Thessaloniki, and will bring together city representatives, policymakers, transport planners, researchers and industry professionals from across Europe.
This year’s theme — Roots & Routes: Moving Forward to a Competitive, Connected and Resilient Urban Mobility — reflects the priorities that MITHOS is directly addressing through its work on data-driven decision support for multimodal transport infrastructure.
MITHOS workshop — 15 September 2026
On the first day of the Forum, CERTH/HIT will co-organise a workshop entitled «From data to decisions: implementing SUMPs» (09:00–12:15). MITHOS will contribute with a dedicated session on integrated public transport planning within Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs), using the Thessaloniki Functional Urban Area as a case study.
