The MITHOS consortium gathered in Thessaloniki on 16–17 June 2026 for its second General Assembly, hosted by project partner CERTH.
Over two days, partners reviewed progress across all work packages, with a special focus on the design of the Decision Support System (DSS) and its core tools. Integrating different use cases into a single platform is one of the project’s key technical challenges, and these discussions helped the consortium move forward together.
As hosts, CERTH also opened the doors of their traffic control centre, where they test and trial new traffic monitoring technologies — a great example of research meeting real-world operations.
The second day was dedicated to an extensive workshop on the four pilot sites — Bilbao, Hamburg, Thessaloniki and Vienna/Linz — where each team presented their current status, technical advances, key challenges and next steps towards deployment.
Looking forward to the next milestones!
